Change a:link color in body of posts only

Hello, my site is blog.hcpd.com.

Our posts include text links, and I want them to appear in a different color. I've tried setting this up through the custom CSS (code below) but only the hover underline is working - the color isn't changing. When I remove the 'p' from the a:link and a:hover, it updates all the links in the sidebars/widgets, etc, but not the body of posts. Please advise.

Thank you!

h4, h5, h6 {font-weight:900;}
h2 {font-size:22px; padding-bottom:15px;}
h3 {font-size:22px; padding-bottom:15px;}
h4 {font-size:22px; font-style:italic; padding-bottom:15px;}
p a:link {text-decoration: none; color:#6c9d31;}
p a:hover {text-decoration: underline; color:#258;}

Hello @drocheim,

For that please try this code in Additional CSS "Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS"

Code:
.single-post .post-content p a {
color:red!important;
}
This will help you.

Thank You.

Thank you. I typed that in but nothing has changed. Here is my code in the Additional CSS.

h2, h4, h5, h6 {font-weight:900;}
h2 {font-size:22px; padding-bottom:15px;}
h3 {font-size:22px; padding-bottom:15px;}
h4 {font-size:22px; font-style:italic; padding-bottom:15px;}
p a:link {text-decoration: none; color:#6c9d31;}
p a:hover {text-decoration: underline; color:#258;}
.single-post .post content p a {color:red!important;}

This post has a text hyperlink in the first sentence: http://blog.hcpd.com/2018/01/arlington-to-launch-marketing-campaign/

You will see the text color is no different but when you hover, it underlines. I want it to be a different color all the time. Thank you.

Hello there,

Could you please try to use that code in the beginning of additional CSS. And then check.
If still it doesn't show then clear browser cache and then check it.

This will solve your issue.

Thank You
