CSS menu code

#1
Hi.
I am trying to customize my top menu text, active and rollover colors and highlights for sub-menu items. My color scheme for the menu is dark blue background with active item or hover text as dark yellow. Sub-menu items have a light blue background with dark blue text unless it is active or hovering then it also turns to dark yellow. As shown in attachment1 (Services item is the currently active item/page and hovering over Products). Attachment1.jpg I am getting what I need for the most part in editing the css code; however I am not getting the results with hover/active in the submenu items as I want the background color to be dark blue with the same dark yellow text. The text (see in attachment2) Attachment2.jpg is highlighting to dark yellow but I am having trouble locating the css code to control the background on hover/active menu item. In addition I've also tried enlarging the text size but that is not working either?

I have done the recommended approach of copying the style.css to custom.css and making edits there but I've found that this doesn't work and it is not reading the custom.css and still uses the style.css to control the theme. In an attempt to locate the correct css code I used the view source to see what the css is writing and this helped but the hover items is not being found?

Any thoughts here on what code I should look for to modify?
TIA!

Hello there,

In theme we have given option to change menu link color, Menu hover active color and to add background color in header. You can change setting from there.

And for more changes this need custom work and we only provide support to lite users for the option available in theme.

Hope you understand.

Kind Regards
