Customizer problem

hello;
I'm using theme Novellite and child-theme NovelGreen
Customizer is not showing custom controls any more after upgrading wordpress and i can't update any option of the theme
please if there is anything to do help me to upgrade my sections i'm upgrading them only from database now manually

Hello there,

If your home page is not displaying then please don’t worry. Just create a new page and select Front Page Template (http://screencast.com/t/w6aKTwg2d8). After that go to the Settings > Reading and set that newly created page as a Front page (http://screencast.com/t/q5i2tF690phe).
It will work.

So I did this and it worked, but how do I hide that new page I made so that it is not a header at the top?

Never mind! I figured it out - changed visibility to private!

Hmmm - working in brave but not in Chrome. Cleared my cache, and checked browser settings.
