Lead form dates

When I enter 2 date fields in 1 form, the calendericon in the form (at the end of the datefield) automatically refers to the 2nd field to enter a date. How can this be fixed?
I use it as 'startdate' and 'enddate'. When I click on the field itself, it does show the calender that is clickable to select a date in both fields (startdate and enddate).

This does not work in Internet Explorer at all by the way.... Can this be resolved?
